Software Sales Rep, Inside, New York City, NY

Young software company in NYC with a great product and a fun environment is adding two inside sales reps due to growth.

Responsibilities Include:
- Phone sales and online demonstrations into leads at the Director and VP level (possible occasional in person sales calls)
- Work with marketing to develop leads (including internet sourcing)
- Manage sales process to track and move prospects from lead to close
- Demonstrate the online marketplace through the use of web meetings
- Provide post-sales account management to increase customer usage
- Work closely with the Business Development, Customer Support, Product Management and Engineering

- 1-5 years experience working in business to business sales
- Documented success with ability to close deals, increase sales and impact business
- Experience in sales situations
- Experience with, and passion for, current internet technologies
- Flexible with the ever changing marketplace

Our client is a leading Global Technology providing software IT solutions, infrastructure management services and OUtsourcing.
Office location : Frisco, TX

Verticals: Hi-Tech, Retail, Media & Entertainment, Lie Sciences, Aero & Auto, Government, BFSI

Minimum of 5 - 10 years of selling complex IT services in the US.
Demonstrated performance in Complex Solution/ IT Service Salesat C level.
History of high sales achievement (consistently over 100% quota-verifiable).
Comfortable in a fast-paced, high-pressure, rapidly evolving entrepreneurial environment.


A university degree is required. An advanced degree in IT/ related field or an MBA is highly desirable

Masters in Business Administration (in Marketing/ Finance)
Bachelors degree in Engineering (in Computer Science/ Electrical/ Electronic/ communication)

Job Description & Duties

- Meet or exceed established market share and sales targets for assigned account base;

- Develop sales forecasts and plan to grow business;

- Develop and implement a rolling 3 year strategic business plan for territory;

- Prepare and submit Monthly Reports to communicate significant field activities and record progress of critical customer programs;

- Develop principal contacts at designated key accounts.

They are currently seeking an experienced sales rep that can cross over from another industry, be a quick study and get in front of their clients quickly. This position will cover a large geographic territory travel could be as much as 10 days per month, some day trips and some overnight. This company does provide quality direct marketing campaigns and has generous leads to work from.
