Sales Manager I.T. Staffing

JOB SUMMARY:
Responsible for directing and managing the day-to-day sales and marketing activities. Manages the daily operations of the sales team in the branch including hiring, supervising, training, leadership of Sales Associates and support staff. Provides sales direction and hands on training. This includes setting sales goals and expectations, monitoring performance against goals and managing the sales staff of ten to fifteen setting expectations, developing and implementing sales methodologies, negotiating contracts, working with Branch Director to ensure that efforts of the Account Managers and Placement Managers are meeting branch needs and expectations, and that they are working as a cohesive group. Also responsible for providing various reports and assuring the sales staff adhere to sales documentation.


PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Interviews, hires, trains, supervises and counsels sales staff at the branch level; trains and develops sales force in accordance with standards and procedures.
Develops and implements overall marketing strategies and individual account/client strategies to achieve revenue and profit goals of the branch; continuously evaluates strategies to grow and penetrate current business base and develop new business opportunities.
Conducts daily status meetings and/or weekly sales team meetings to assess sales efforts, focus sales team, and promote corporate initiatives.
Works with Recruiting Manager to ensure the efforts of the Account Managers and Placement Managers are cohesive and coordinated to achieve objectives.
Develops client relationships, manages the proposal effort, develops and delivers client presentations, and assists in client and consultant issue resolution.
Performs other duties as assigned.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent plus five to seven years of sales experience, including at least two years sales management experience. Must have excellent communication and leadership skills.

Vice President of Sales - Ft. Worth, TX

Job Title: Vice President of Sales

Compensation: $150K base plus bonus

Working primarily from our Fort Worth, Texas headquarters, this high profile position requires the ability to drive sales through a management team. Reporting to the President, the Vice President of Sales will have complete responsibility for our North American Sales territories and oversight of our sales team. This person will have the responsibility of developing and executing an integrated sales plan that will help the company grow in terms of volume, market share and profit. The Vice President of Sales must directly expand, develop and lead the sales directors to achieve their maximum potential. This person will have “hands-on” responsibility for hiring, coaching/mentoring, training, and motivating the sales team to achieve their goals and will coordinate all appropriate departments to assure that aggressive and attainable sales plans are developed. Lastly, this person is expected to fulfill a key role on the company executive management team.

The ideal candidate will possess an undergraduate degree in marketing or business (an MBA is a plus). The successful candidate will possess strong analytical skills and be able to demonstrate success and over-achievement in selling and managing in a product and/or professional services environment. This person will likely have a minimum of 10-15 years of business experience of which 5-10 has been in leadership-based positions. The ideal person will have outstanding values, a commanding presence, demonstrate strong general business skills, including financial management, and the ability to communicate effectively with staff at all levels within the organization.
